Hi, I’m Dan, the creator of Diecast EV and a lifelong tinkerer with a passion for all things electrical. By day, I’m an electrical engineer, but by night (and weekends), I’m on a mission to make the diecast world a little brighter—literally.

Diecast EV started because I saw a problem that needed fixing. A buddy of mine told me about a service he paid for to add lights to his diecast car, and while it looked cool, the price was just... wow. Way too steep for what it was.

That got me thinking—why should collectors and hobbyists have to shell out a fortune just to light up their cars? So, I got to work and put together a DIY light kit that’s easy to use, and doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. My goal? To make this hobby more fun and accessible for everyone who shares a passion for these little works of art.

When I’m not at my 9-to-5 or working on Diecast EV, you’ll find me hanging out with my wife and chasing after my daughter. They keep me grounded and remind me why I love what I do—both at work and in life.
